Fall 2020 and Looking Ahead

As I sit overlooking the river writing this, the sun is shining on a warm blue-sky day that has the feel of Fall coming on. We’ve had the first few nights of temperatures in the 30’s with daytimes in the 70’s. The fall hatches are about to start and the trees will begin turning with the first frosts in the coming weeks. Fishing has been good and is about to take an upturn as it usually does at this time of year. We have only one month left in this season, but it’s a particularly good one. If you have the flexibility to come, it’s definitely not too late.

2020 has obviously been a unique season for the Lodge. We’ve understandably had numerous cancellations, but have also been surprised by the unusual number of late reservations from new guests that have fully made up for those cancellations. It seems they want to escape the restrictions at home and experience fishing as a more attractive form of social distancing. For the coming 2021 season we now have some openings for times that are usually very hard to come by. With our past guests looking to resume their trips to the Lodge and our new guests now also eager to rebook, this is the time to plan your visit to the Lodge for 2021.

Please contact us soon for reservations at (208) 558-7953 or send us an email at info@henrysforklodge.com for what promises to be an especially busy 2021 season.

All the best,
