2020 on the Henry's Fork

This season on the Henry’s Fork has been exceptional. Early fishing was as good as I’ve seen it in my 50+ years of fishing, with an unprecedented number of 20''+ browns. The rainbows on the upper river, from the Box Canyon down through the Railroad Ranch and beyond, have been exceptionally broad and husky throughout the season.

Now that fall is upon us, the entire river has received a stimulus of mayfly hatches and browns on their spawning runs in the lower river. Fall is a quiet time here, with autumn foliage, bugling elk, and flights of migrating birds adding to the enjoyment of the final weeks of superb fishing.

Thanks to all who joined us for our 30th Anniversary season. I am delighted that the Lodge continues to provide unmatched fishing, lodging and dining experiences to our guests -- many of whom are old friends who have visited us for decades, and others are new friends coming from all corners of the globe. We look forward to welcoming you again next year.
