Advocating for healthy waters
At Henry’s Fork Lodge, the waterways of the Western United States represent the heart of our life’s work and favorite pastime. We’re passionate about protecting them and have a long history of advocacy and support for organizations dedicated to ensuring their sustained health. We’ve advocated for constructive solutions to protecting the Island Park region, and have organized a coalition of like-minded groups to protect Island Park from unwise or large-scale development.
“Few businesses have done so much to make fishing better on the Henrys Fork and across the West, than the Henrys Fork Lodge, and its owners. The Lodge has generously housed Trout Unlimited board meetings, staff retreats, and other informal gatherings where big ideas are hatched to improve Idaho’s late season flows, or to recover wild and native trout to other fabled Gem state rivers.
Many in the fly fishing business talk about the need to protect healthy rivers and clean water. The Henrys Fork Lodge bakes conservation into their business model. No other business has done so much for Idaho’s lands and waters as the Henrys Fork Lodge.”
