Summer report

We haven’t seen as many fish up and down the Henry’s Fork in many years. The upper river has extremely healthy and fat rainbows and, in addition, the lower river below Ashton has more large husky browns than ever before, as guides will attest.

Our guests have enjoyed outstanding fishing since we opened in late May. Here's a photo of a gorgeous Ranch Rainbow caught by guest Russell Graham and guided by Smitty of Henry's Fork Anglers. What a beauty! More excellent fishing is certainly ahead this season.

For the Fourth of July, our chefs Matthew Dusharme, Allison Condon and Brian Morales prepared an outstanding barbecue and treated guests and friends to delicious bison burgers, smoked ribs, corn on the cob, and ice cream sandwiches to top it all off. A good time was had by all!

Altogether, this is a banner year for the Lodge and fishing on the Henry’s Fork. We are virtually 100% full for this season and the guides are almost all fully booked as well.

If you’re considering a trip for 2022, now is the time to start planning because the excellent fishing has meant unprecedented Lodge and guide re-bookings for next season. Get in touch with us via phone (208-558-7953) or email to make your plans.
