July 2020 News

Fall is for lovers of the outdoors!

We have some great dates for this fall, especially from mid-September to Sunday, October 4, the close of our 2020 season.

Fall is the time for spectacular scenery and quiet times. Vibrant foliage will be on gorgeous display, birds will be migrating, and the sounds of elk bugling will be in the air. Most tourists will be back home, and the rivers, roads and parks will see greatly reduced traffic. It’s an especially great time to visit Yellowstone and its wildlife.

Fishing will again be at a peak, with big browns in the Henry’s Fork and other rivers migrating, and cooler water stimulating the trout to go on the feed before winter. All of the Henry’s Fork will be at ideal fishing levels and fall hatches will be in full swing. It’s one of my favorite times of the season, with far fewer anglers on all of the waters.

Back at the main Lodge the fireplaces will be going and 10 of our rooms have their own private fireplaces for you to enjoy. It’s a decidedly relaxed and quiet time, so you can take in the peace and solitude of the woods and streams surrounding us.

Please contact us for reservations at (208) 558-7953 or send us an email at info@henrysforklodge.com. We're always available to help craft an ideal trip for our guests.

Looking forward to seeing you,
