Opening Day!

Opening Day for the Idaho trout season is this Saturday, May 29 and Opening Day for Henry’s Fork Lodge is this Friday, May 28! We’re getting ready for you with a staff that’s vaccinated, tested, enthusiastic, and ready to go. Early fishing reports from the lower Henry’s Fork have been very good, and the fish are rising in Pinehaven just upstream of the lodge, and right in Last Chance.

We are eager to welcome back our many returning guests and get to know those who are coming to the lodge for the first time. You can look forward to meeting old friends or making new ones at the lodge. We still have a few spaces for the Opening in May and then from mid-August to early October.

Our terrific pastry and desert chef, Emily Treece, has just had twin boys and will be taking this season off, but plans to return next season. With that, we are excited to welcome Brian Morales as her replacement. Brian brings 25 years of experience and is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. He has also worked in some of the finest restaurants in the country, including Daniel in NYC. Brian is excited to delight our guests with beautiful pastry and desert creations this season!

A small reminder for those planning to rent cars – they are in extremely high demand this season, so please book them now.
